The hosts were so accommodating, even with my unpredictable arrival. They provided tea, coffee, and fresh milk in a glass bottle - a true lifesaver! The house was well-equipped, clean, and felt like a home away from home. And the bed! So comfortable, I had the best sleep.
Oh, the joy of soft mattresses and lackluster water pressure in the shower, such a delight!

I recently stayed at a lovely house in Uppingham for a few nights. Sue and Dave, the hosts, were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even with my unpredictable arrival time. They provided complimentary tea, coffee, and fresh milk, which was a real lifesaver after my journey. The house itself was well-appointed, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect at home. The off-street parking was a bonus, and there were plenty of on-street parking options as well. The location was great, just a short walk into town, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean, and the shower had good water pressure and temperature control. Checking out was a breeze.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Sue and Dave were absolutely amazing! They met me upon arrival and provided complimentary tea, coffee, and fresh milk in a glass bottle. The house itself was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly cozy - truly felt like a home away from home. Off-street parking was available, but plenty of on-street parking was also an option. The walk into town was a breeze , and although it was slightly uphill, the downhill journey back more than made up for it. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and the shower was perfect. Checking out was a breeze. The fully refurbished kitchen had everything I needed, although a microwave oven would have been a nice addition. my stay was a jaw-dropping experience, with super convenient amenities like Wi-Fi, free parking, cookware/kitchen utensils, and a flat-screen TV. It's worth mentioning that no pets were allowed and the entire house was non-smoking. Sue and Dave also provided a helpful booklet with local walks and treats to welcome me - oh so appreciated!

the house was well, appointed, clean, and extremely comfortable, providing a home away from home experience. the hosts were friendly and accommodating, even offering complementary tea, coffee, and fresh milk upon arrival. the house had convenient off, street parking and was just a short walk from town, making it easy to explore the local area. the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well, maintained, and the shower provided the perfect water temperature.
Although there were many positives, the mattress was on the softer side, and the water pressure in the shower could have been better.

Loved the private parking - felt like a VIP. The free WiFi was a lifesaver for my Instagram addiction. Location was handy for exploring - even though I got lost half the time.
Oh, who needs a firm mattress or good water pressure in the shower anyway? Definitely not me.

Private Parking Available Onsite: Arriving at the hotel, I was relieved to find ample parking space just steps away from the entrance. It was like hitting a bullseye in the parking game, and I didn't have to circle around like a lost pigeon looking for crumbs.
Limited Airport Options: Only two nearby airports meant that my wings were somewhat clipped when it came to choosing my arrival and departure points.
